This class M filter makes for an ideal replacement for an old or defective piece, thanks to the specially-designed filter material.
The Teflon coating applied to the PES fleece creates a surface with nano-scale roughness that repels dirt and prevents debris from getting stuck in filter pores.
Because of this, cleaning the filter is much easier, allowing it to keep functioning effectively for longer compared to similar filters that lack this treatment. This filter is designed by FLEX for use in its VCE 33/44 models of HEPA safety vacuum cleaners.
Automatic filter cleaning systems in such models are especially effective with maintaining this filter, but users can also manually clean it with a wet towel.
Though the filter is rated at class M, and thus matches especially well with similarly rated vacuums, it can be installed and used in class L or class H models as well. Warning: use of this product can result in exposure to substances that are listed in CaliforniaÄôs Proposition 65; these substances are possible risk factors for cancer, birth defects or other types of reproductive harm.
