How It Works
Heavy-duty hydraulic cylinders open the root grapple. The operator will lower the lift arms as far as necessary, then tip the grapple forward until the lower tines engage the ground. As the grapple approaches the materials, it will begin to tear out roots and fill the grapple with logs, sticks and brush. The operator will close the grapple and raise the lift arms, allowing dirt and soil to fall through the evenly spaced tines while the grapple tines hold the load.
