The handles of these ratcheting cutters increase cutting pressure and press the blades through cables that are too thick for standard cable cutters.
Their curved, sickle-like blades open to accept the cable and clamp down more forcefully with each pump of the handles.
They cut large-diameter copper and aluminum communication, electrical, and data cable without flattening, splaying, or fraying the ends.
This makes it easier to slide fittings onto the cable.
